It was apprehended that the Pulses sowing in India will decline due to the miseries faced by the farmers, but as of now the sowing is set to increase by about 23 percent year on year. The south west monsoon was the main factor in increasing the Pulses acreage in the country. It is estimated that about 4.41 million hectares was under cultivation during the start of July when compared to 3.59 million hectares in the previous year. The overall Kharif sowing in India was seen at 40.4 million hectares, which increased by 9 percent from 37.12 million hectares. Paddy acreage in India was also seen to increase by about 6 percent.
Gold is 63 points down at 27721 and also Silver has dropped 127 points at 36104. In Base Metals, Aluminium is down 0.04% at 124.40, Copper with minor gains trading at 380.35 and Zinc has lost 0.30 points 180.00.
Jeeraunjha has made a high run of 220 points at 18770, Sugar is down by 7 points or 1.19 percent at 3680 while Dhaniya is 93 points up at 5050.
